Winter Newsletter

Parents,

Thank you for coming to your child’s parent-teacher conference.  It was so nice to meet with you and discuss your child’s accomplishments.  We have a fabulous class!

Our kids did such a great job in RAD Kids.  We are lucky to have this safety program at our school!

I hope you have a chance to visit the Pearson web site.  It not only has fun learning activities for your child, it is also a great way for you to look at their progress.  Your child knows how to get to the Pearson web site from my blog: mrsadams2.blogspot.com, or you can go directly to pearsonsuccessnet.com.

Our theme for this language arts unit is responsibility.  Our stories all reinforce this theme.  We are also studying pronouns and prefixes.  In math we just completed fractions and measurement, and now we are working on time.  This can be a difficult concept, so please practice at home as much as you can, especially quarter after, half past, and quarter to.  There are also some fun games on the blog.

Here are some highlights from the last three months...
