In language arts this
week, we’re wrapping up unit four and reviewing for the CFA test on
Monday. There is no homework packet or
spelling test this week. Please use the
extra time to go on the Pearson website and see what skills your child missed
in the weekly tests. Clicking on these
skills will print out a specialized practice page. I’ve sent the instructions again as an
attachment.
This would be a great
week for your child to get extra practice on Reflex Math. Many of our students are less than halfway to
our goal of 100%. It is important for
all of our children to be fluent in their math facts to 20 by the end of second
grade, and those who make the goal by May 5 will earn a party!

day. Students who meet our goal of 400
minutes get a coupon for a free pizza from Pizza Hut.

to our room moms, Mrs. Pappas, Mrs. Anderson, and Mrs. Douglas. I also want to thank you for the nice gifts
and chocolates!
We learned a lot about Utah history from our Mountain Man assembly.

We are still doing
Jump Rope for Heart, and some of our kids have been practicing at recess. It has been exciting to see the donations they
have brought for the American Heart Association.
